The colour of the ambroidery threads made by our firm is guaranteed for:
WASHING, LIGHT EXPOSURE, WEARING and IRONING, for a long time.
The models of gobelins created by the firms GOBLEN-SET from Pitesti, both those with diagram (plan) and the coloured ones, fullfill the conditions of realizing a valuable arras both from the point of view of the artistic interpretation and from that of the quality of the material as follows:
1. The colours of the embroidery threads are especially chosen and used so that the resulting gobelin render faithfully the original painting.
For this model, the changing of the embroidery thread from one period to another is not permited, as it would mean canceling the value of the original painting and fallingg towards false values (kitsch).
2. In order to create natural effects like: the azure of the sky, plains with shadows and light, backrounds lit by rays of diffuse light and so on, we performed special dying.
3. The type A (10x10) canvas we produce is especially designed at the density of 100 loops/cm2 and at a certain thinness, with a looser degree of starching for not diminish the mechanical resistance of the embroidery thread during the sewing.
A thick and very starched canvas is not recomanded for the gobelin embroidery.
